Tommy Dean “Tom” Smith, 67 of Haleyville, entered into rest on July 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Tommy was born on May 20, 1953 in Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 4pm. Burial will be in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Smith; daughters, Angela Martin and her husband Jeff, and Melissa Jacques and her husband Daryl; grandchildren, Emily and Andrea Jacques, and Amy Martin; great grandchildren, Azleigh and Kenzleigh Gravitt, Sawyer and Hayden Jacques, and Katie Martin; sisters, Raven Millwood and her husband Paul, Brinda Marks, Regina Gregory and her husband Kenny, Gale Casey and her husband Bethel, Joyce Ann Simpson and Jane Dotson; and brother, Neal Hood.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ellis Wade; father, Robert Daniel Smith; step-father, Hubert Hood; and grandson, Christopher Gravitt.
