Timothy Shane Jackson, age 64, passed away peacefully on September 19th, 2026. He was born on September 8th, 1962, to Elmer Jackson and Myrl Smith Jackson.
Timothy was a devoted husband, father, and papa who cherished his family dearly. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved his church family. His faith and the relationships he built with those around him were an important part of his life.
Timothy found great joy in cattle farming alongside his son, Dustin. He also loved spending time camping with his buddies, Nita Jean, Lloyd, Dana, Terry, and Emma, making memories that will be treasured by all who knew him. He held a special place in his heart for his niece, Katie Jones, and was loved dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Jackson; son, Dustin Jackson (Meggan); grandchildren, Caden “Pistol Pete” Jackson and Addy “Lou Lou” Jackson; sister, Venalyn King (Johnnie); brothers, Mike Jackson (Patsy), Mark Jackson (Mindy), and James Douglas Jackson (Susan); along with his special nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Myrl Jackson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Timothy Shane Jackson will be held Thursday, September 24th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Bill Barlow officiating. Family will hold a viewing from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. before the service. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hardaway, Lloyd Wallace, Danny Wallace, Terry Bobbitt, Mike Jones, Lucas McGee, Canon White, and Jody Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Caden Jackson and Tommy Jacobs.
Timothy will be deeply missed by his beloved family, his Bethel Baptist Church family, and the many friends who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the many cherished memories he leaves behind.
