Timothy E. “Little Willie” Sawyer
December 25, 1969 – November 17, 2016
Tim, age 46, of Oakman, left this earth on Thursday, November 17, 2016 to a much better place. Born in Walker County on December 25, 1969. He is employed with CFI Resources as truck driver awaiting to return to work from an accident in June 2016.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Townley.
Mr. Sawyer was preceded in death by his Father-Ronald Sawyer; Grandmother-Betty Plunkett; Grandfather-Willie (Crash) Sawyer; Great Grandparents-Harvey and Mae Key; Uncle-Luther Welch; Brother-in-law-Gary McCoy; Nephew-Darrin Sawyer.
He is survived by his Mother-Sue Sawyer; Brother-Tommy Sawyer (Cheryl); Sister-Veronica McCoy (Darrell); Daughter-Destiny Sawyer (Courtenie); Stepdaughter-Whitney Harrell; Sons-Timothy Kyle Sawyer and Hayes Sawyer (his mother Tara); Stepson-Cade Harrell (Angela); Step grandson-Will Walton; Grandmother-Louise Hester; Many nieces and nephews; his girlfriend and her children-Tonya Miller, Carlos Harten, Skyler Miller, Tommy Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Chad McCoy, John Rhodes, David Madison, Carlos Harten, Tommy Phillips, Aaron Vanderver and Skyler Brown.
