Timothy Dale Newton passed away April 26th, 2024 at the age of 62. Tim was a beloved father, husband, brother and friend. Tim worked as a millwright for over 40 years and knew many friends through the Laborers Union and local 1192. Tim loved being in nature, keeping his hands busy, and telling stories. Tim is survived by his wife, Deborah Newton; daughter, Jennifer McGee (John); step daughter, Angela Vaught (Salty); grandson, Tristin Wilson (Breanna Eddy); sisters, Cindy Campbell (Jerry); Denise Golden (Ronnie); nieces and nephews. Tim was proceeded in death by parents, Kenneth and Mae Newton; and grand daughter, Isabella Wilson. The family would like to extend deep gratitude to the ICU team at NAMC for their skilled and compassionate care. A private celebration of life will be held by Tim’s family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tim’s memory to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
