Thomas “Tommy” Edward Thigpen, 75, of Florence, passed away at his residence on October 15, 2023 after an extended illness. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, a long time Meat Cutter at Bass Big Star, and Police Officer.
A visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11 am in the Greenview Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thigpen was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Elizabeth Thigpen; and wife, Darline Thigpen.
He is survived by daughters, Sarah Nicole Peeden (Edward) of Florence and Amanda Melissa Thigpen McFall of Waterloo; and grandchildren, Kimberly LaShay Estes and Katie Beth Peeden both of Florence.
