Thomas Matthew Stumpe – Obituary

Thomas Matthew Stumpe, 87, of Florence, passed away December 25, 2015. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2015 from 11-1 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Father Jacob Amos, O.S.B. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Mr. Stumpe was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Josephine Eckl Stumpe; daughter, Carolyn Marie Stumpe Hudgins; brothers, Joe and Raymond; sisters, Bernadette, Evangaline, Margaret, Rose, Katherine, and Clarrisa.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph and Mike Stumpe (Pam Clepper); daughters, Pam Stumpe, Annette Stumpe, and Anita Stumpe Bryant (Stan); sister, Jeanette Stumpe Brink; grandchildren, Jenifer and Matthew Hudgins; and great-grandchild, Sanjelica Marie Hudgins.

Active pallbearers will include: Lawrence Stumpe, Phil Stumpe, Paul Stumpe, Tommy Brink, Steve Perry, and Kevin Kasmeier.

Danny Peterman, Ralph Peters, Bill Connolly, and Heath Pitts will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Please make memorials to Loaves and Fishes, American Cancer Society, or the American Stroke Association.
