Funeral service for Thomas Lee, 77, of Decatur, will be Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 6 p.m. at The Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Ray Remkey officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Lee died on March 21, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 29, 1938. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee and sisters, Irma Rotsteen Adey and Celia Rotsteen Silvernail and his parents.
Mr. Lee belonged to the Mended Hearts Association Support Group, Chapter #260 in Huntsville, and was also affiliated with the Non-Profit organization of the American Heart Association that volunteered to provide encouragement and resources to heart disease patients as well as their families. He was an avid supporter of Hartselle Girls Softball and Hartselle Softball Boosters.
Survivors include two daughters, Kris Staudt (Bobby), of Hartselle, Jennifer Petron (Chris), of Connecticut; one brother, Mike Rotsteen (LaNeta), of Arizona; two sisters, Darlene Muth and Ruthie Jewell, both of Arizona; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, family request memorials be made to the Mended Hearts Association, Chapter #260– P.O. Box 18912 Huntsville, Alabama, 35804.
