Thomas L. Guyton Sr., age 57, Hamilton, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Marion Regional Medical Center, Hamilton, Ala. He was born in Marion County on Sunday, Oct. 9, 1955, to William (Bill) and Ava Lee Guyton.
Visitation was Tuesday, August 20, beginning at 6 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 10 a.m. today at Marion County Funeral Home. Brother Mac Buttram, Brother Jeff Armbrester and Louie G. Scales Jr. are officiating.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lynn Guyton; father, William A. (Bill) Guyton; brother, Austin Craig Guyton; and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Teresa Duncum Guyton; children, Kristen Hall and husband, Brent, Karen Dillard; grandchildren, Grant, Hayden, Austin, Tyson, Madison, Ashlynn; mother, Ava Lee Guyton; mother-in-law, Treva Mason; siblings, Melinda Franks and husband, Phillip, Daryl Guyton; nieces and nephews, Rachel (Caleb) Chaffin, Zacharie Guyton, Beth Taylor; and a host of friends.
