Mr. Thomas Henry Smith of Arab, Alabama; passed away on the morning of March 20, 2022 at the age of 91 years.
Mr. Smith was born on July 13, 1930 to the late William Forney Smith and Clara Irene Berry Smith in Marshall County, Alabama. Mr. Smith served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a realtor – broker at ‘Pass Realty’. Mr. Smith enjoyed wood working, going to trade days, watching tv and Alabama Football.
Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Jeffrey Thomas William Smith (Tommy); daughters, Marsha E. Satterfield (Gary Cheatwood) and Michelle A. Bishop (Bill); grandchildren, Christy Burke Batista (Ricky) and Dawn Howell (David); as well as 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is at last reunited with his beloved wife, Mary Frances “Fran” Green-Smith; sister, Martha Irene Smith Stone; grandson, Zack Sattersfield, a granddaughter, Kim Stephenson and a Aunt who help raise him Evelyn Berry-Patterson.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday – March 24, 2022
Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday – March 24, 2022 with Bro. Mike Shirley and Bro. Randy Blakely, officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Brashiers Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Smith to his final resting place will be: Sammie Tedder, Gary Cheatwood, Will Batista, Nic Batista, Logan Andrews and Jordan Howell.
