Mrs. Theresia L. Clark Reeves was welcomed into the arms of Jesus peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2023. Theresia married the love of her life, Dennis, on May 26, 1978, they were married for over 44 years. Theresia was also a compassionate nurse, and retired from the Simon Williamson Clinic. Theresia was a talented piano player, and loved to participate in church music. Theresia loved her family, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Theresia loved Jesus, and served people through her love, whether at home, during her nursing, or through her ministry.
Theresia is preceded in death by her parents, Hoytt and Alta Clark and brothers, Zell Dee and Emery “Cootie” Clark.
Left to cherish Theresia’s memory include her loving husband, Dennis Reeves; son, Dustin Reeves (Julia); daughters, Roxanna Jones (Gary) and Desirae Mitchell (Spouse); grandchildren, Lexi Jones, Kaden Jones, Zaine Harbison, Malachi Reeves, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2023, from 11:00am-12:00pm at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, in Dora Alabama. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00pm, with Bro. Donny Hyche officiating. Interment will be at New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
