Theresa Kennedy, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Terrace Manor.
She was born on August 16, 1963, in Winnebago County, Illinois.
Theresa enjoyed working in the fast-food industry, meeting new people and serving others.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Elisha Lingelbach and Alpha O’Dean Smoot (Files) as well as family members, William L. Lingelbach, Pamela Watson, Loretta Meeder, Michael Lingelbach, Charles Lingelbach, and Roger D. Lingelbach.
She is survived by her children, John Kennedy, Gregory Jamison, and Michelle Hiat. Grandchildren, Brida Jamison and Kaitlyn Presley. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Terrace Manor.
A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
