Mrs. Thelma Vernice Bevis Lansdell, 83, went home to be with the Lord, February 13, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday the 14th 6:00-8:30p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will Sunday at 2:30p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ. The body will lie-in-state from 1:30-2:30. Bro. Carl Sigenthaler will be officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Lansdell was preceded in death by her parents John Brown Bevis and Vergie Dowdy Bevis; sister, Vivian Bevis; brothers, Harold Bevis, Louis Bevis, Brown Bevis, J.B. Bevis and grand-daughter Melinda Lansdell Key.
She is survived by her husband Clifford C. Lansdell; daughter, Kay Gean (Kenneth); sons, Ronald Lansdell (Ginger) and David Lansdell (Sherrie); grandchildren, Ricky Archer (Julie), Angie Monceret (Bret), Kristina Lansdell, Phillip Lansdell (Crystal) and 9 great-grandchildren.
