Thelma Jean Rhodes, 95, of Florence, passed away November 21, 2016. She was a member of Cloverdale church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Jack Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Rhodes; and parents, Emery and Virgie Lawson.
She is survived by her son, Cecil E. “Gene” Rhodes (Patsy) ; special niece, Mildred Hendrix; brother, Lloyd Lawson all of Florence; sisters, Ophelia Heupel, Lena Thornton Baker, Etoile Smith, Loraine Smith, and Stella Smith; step-grandchildren, Kelly Hulsey (Jeff), Melba Morrow (David), and Donna Bragwell all of Russellville.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hendrix, Harlan McGee, David Morrow, Jeff Hulsey, Larry Smith, and Lanier Holcomb.
