THE SHOALS – We know. It seems hard to believe, but in the year 2013, The Quad-Cities Daily has published almost 40-thousand photos. FORTY THOUSAND. If this publication was not of the  Internet, but of 15th-Century technology, printing that many photographs of life in the Shoals would have been impossible. Somebody acknowledged to us a short while back, that the Quad-Cities Daily was in the business of recording, in photos, the life of our community.

Our site visitor reports tell us that our photos are becoming more popular each month. In fact a growing number of the thousands of page views we accumulate each day are our event photographs. We are humbled that our viewers care enough of our little slices-of-life in The Shoals that they come back again and again to our pages and peruse.

These year-end images which we will be presenting over the next 3 days are only a smattering of what is contained in our database of photos. Sheri Wiggins has spent a considerable amount of time deciding which ones to include here.

So enjoy! If you would like to print one out, go ahead!
