I write this the day before Thanksgiving knowing that you will read this after Thanksgiving. I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving and saw family and friends and gave thanks as you saw fit.
Joel and I want everyone to know that we give thanks to be able to represent our clients in personal injury cases because we get to know our clients and how they have been affected by their injuries and look for the best result possible for them.
Part of the reason that we are able to work for the best results for our clients is because we know each and every one of our clients. We personally meet every client at an initial meeting where we answer their questions and then make the mutual decision about whether or not we will offer to take the case and if the client wants to hire us to handle their case. We certainly aren’t salesmen, and some people need and should go home and talk to a spouse about what the right decision to make is. No money ever exchanges hands until the end of the case when we win.
What makes us effective is that we learn the facts of our clients’ cases and know our clients. If we don’t think you have a case that we can win in court, we will tell you. You may have noticed that lawyers that fly around on TV that tell you up front that they will not go to court aren’t flying around on TV anymore. If you won’t go to court, the insurance companies won’t pay you. The fact is that we don’t want to try every case but we will try those cases that require it and insurance companies know it and that is what gets our clients results. We don’t have 10,000 billboards and get literally 1,500 phone calls every Monday morning. You can’t meet people with a volume like that.
It is the quality of the client and the facts of the case that make a lawsuit one that we can tell the insurance company you’ll have to pay us or go to court. And we can say that with confidence. So we thank each and every one of you who have become clients of McCutcheon & Hamner, it is our honor and privilege to represent you.
