F.09.18.24 Terry Hall.jpg  Terry Wayne Hall, 64, passed away on Thursday, September 5th, at 9:10 p.m. Terry was many things a Marine, a son, a husband and brother, but above all he was a dad.

Terry was born in West Plains, Missouri, but was proudly raised in Russellville, Alabama by loving parents, Wayne and Nell Hall. At 18, he joined the Marine Corps, where he served for 22 years, and traveled the world with his fellow members. He has been to nine countries, every state in the country but six, and during his travels he met his wife, Lindy. He was married to Lindy for 26 years before she passed on in 2017. While stationed in Hawaii, they learned about and adopted their daughter Keslea, who together they loved and raised for 25 years. After retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant, he and his wife settled in Terrytown, Louisiana where he worked for Avondale Shipyard for a proud 22 years.

Terry leaves behind his daughter, Keslea Kathleen Alohilani Hall; his mother, Nell Hall; brother, Ricky Hall and his wife, Kathy and their children. In addition, he leaves his mother-in-law, Linda “Nana” Martin; nephew, Martin Burns, and Martin’s parents, Leann “Uma” and Jeff Burns.

Terry Hall was a wonderful man who never met a person he wouldn’t help, a friend he couldn’t make laugh, or a job he couldn’t handle. His passing will be felt by many, for a long time.

His funeral services will be held Wednesday September 11th at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, LA. Visitation will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m., and the funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery in the Redeemer Mausoleum Hall, joining his beautiful and deeply missed wife, Lindy Hall.

Mothe Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. The family kindly invites you to share thoughts, fondest memories, and condolences online at www.MotheFunerals.com.
