  Terry Rogers Greenway Profile PhotoTerry Rogers Greenway, 73, resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Kenny McFarlen officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Terry was born December 10, 1952, in Columbia, TN, and was the son of the late Jessie Rogers Greenway and the late Helen Rebecca Derryberry Greenway Carroll. He was a 1970 graduate of Columbia Central High School. On October 13, 1972, he married Wanda Sue Beard. Terry worked for Union Carbide for 30 years as a welder and Grade A millwright. He also worked for the Maury County Board of Education for eight years in the maintenance department at Spring Hill High School. He enjoyed metal detecting, bluegrass music, woodworking, horseback riding, and fishing. Terry attended New Lasea Church of Christ.

In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, Wanda Beard Greenway, he is survived by his children, Stacey Ryan (Opal Hammer) Greenway of Franklin and Amanda Leigh (Chad) Pierce of Spring Hill; sisters, Kathy Russell (Billy Buford) and Wanda Kay Mitchell, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Isabel Pierce, Garrett Pierce, Hannah Pierce, and Keaton Greenway; aunt, Lois Westmoreland; uncle, Donald Derryberry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Gary Beard, John Allan Neal, Harold Hazelwood, Roger Russell, Blake Allan Perritt, and Edwin Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of New Lasea Church of Christ and members of the Spur of the Moment Bluegrass Band.
