On Monday, June 17th, 2024, Terry Lynn Demoll moved on from this life. She left peacefully and with tremendous pride, after several days spent in the company of friends and family, during which time the bottomless love and joy she was so known for was fully reflected back upon her. She was 67 years old.
The details of Lynn’s life — where she was born, when she moved where, what jobs she held along the way — were only important to her in terms of the relationships those facts produced. For her, life was built of people.
She is preceded in death by her stepfather Ron Farrar, her mother Hope Farrar, her brother Scott Farrar, and her father Terry Edwards. All were blessed in their final days to have had Lynn as a caretaker. Her husband, John Demoll, passed away suddenly in 2014. She held his name on her heart until its last beat.
She is survived by her three children (of whom she was so proud): Josh Raby, Jessica Dykes, and Gus Raby; her many grandchildren (which lit up her world) Acelynn, Sofia, Luca, Jaxon, Skyler, Lane, Abel, Bankston, and Kree; her niece, Emma; her daughter-in-law Kristi; her beloved son-in-law Bryan; and her dearest friend of 42 years, Phil Raby. All were by her side in her last days, grateful for the chance to guide her home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00am from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
