Terry Dewayne Guin, 47, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 6, 1979, in Tupelo, to Terry and Tae Buse Guin. He was plant manager at Tempur Sealy in Belmont. He was a member of Ozark Baptist Church, where he enjoyed supporting the youth. He loved his job and his work family. He was active at Power Zone gym where he worked out with the ‘Wolfpack”. He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed going to the beach. He loved watching his daughter play volleyball, and watching sports, especially Ole Miss football.
Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, at the Ozark Baptist Church with Bro. Dempsey Rowland, Bro. Brian Prochaska, Mark Guin, and Bro. David Perry, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Hood Guin; his mother Tae Jackson ((Lonnie); one son, Wyatt Dewayne Guin; one daughter, Laylah Grace Guin, all of Mantachie; three brothers, Thomas Guin (Megan) of Ozark, Jonathan Guin (Katelin) of Mantachie, and Jesse Guin (Miranda) of Baldwyn; two sisters, Carrie Sheshane (Michael) of Nashville, TN, and Holly Guin of Florence, AL; his grandparents, Patty Buse, and Mack and Mary Lue Guin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Guin; and his grandfather, Jerry Buse.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Guin, Jonathan Guin, Jesse Guin, Adam Gardner, Brent Kitchens, Brian Bryant, and Brandon Guin.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Tempur Sealy family.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Ozark Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Ozark Baptist Church Youth Fund.
