Terry Dean Groce, 69, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in Athens, Alabama.
He was born on June 1, 1957, to the late Rabon Groce and the late Ellen Louise Craig Groce.
Terry lived in Ardmore his entire life and was of the Baptist faith. In his free time, Terry enjoyed sitting on the front porch, visiting with neighbors, and tinkering with small engines.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Janice Groce, as well as one brother, Jimmie Groce.
Terry is survived by one brother, Rickey (Gyn) Groce, two sisters; Brenda Groce, Shirley (Don) Hendrix, one sister-in-law, Barbara Groce, three nieces; Kristie Crouch, Amanda Irvin, and DeAnna Hoffman, three nephews; Jeffery Groce, Brian Groce, and Christopher Groce, 12 great nieces and nephews, as well as seven great great nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation held for Mr. Groce at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A chapel service will be scheduled immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 11:00 AM. Bro. Adam Mikel will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
