Mrs. Teresa Diane Venable, age 70, of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at her home in Scottsboro.
Mrs. Venable is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tommy Venable; daughter, Tracie (Chris) Day; grandchildren, Carlie Day and Elijah Day; sisters, Rachel Rios, Mary Hancock, and Paula Garner; brother, Jesse Evans; sister in law, Judy (Ed) Patterson; aunt, Gaynell (Harold) Wallingsford; niece, Summer (Kevin) Pitts; nephews, CJ (Kristen) Gentle, Michael Hall, and Tim (Jamie) Hall; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Mary Lou Evans; brother, Chris Evans; and in laws, Jesse and Mable Venable.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brett Hogland officiating. Burial will be at Goosepond Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.
