Mrs. Sylvia Jean (Wilson) Wright, of Sayre, AL, born on November 30, 1936 in Birmingham, AL, to the late Floyd and Audrey Wilson, passed away at age 81 on October 4, 2018 in Birmingham, AL. She was a cosmetologist for many years and enjoyed painting. Sylvia was the beloved wife of the late Donald K Wright. She was preceded in death by her sister, Annette (Wilson) Flippo; and friend, Shirley Payne. Sylvia is survived by her son, Steve Wright; daughter, Rhonda Bridier (Tim); brother, Joe Wilson (Lori); grandchildren, Michael Bridier (Jessica), Ken Wright (Cameo), Nick Bridier (Erica), and Logan Wright; along with many nieces and nephews, and friend, Betty Dodd. Sylvia loved her great grandchildren Trent and Lilly Grace (Bridier) and Sawyer, Oakley, Lilyanna (Wright), as they were the light of her life. Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Saturday, October 6th starting at 9:00am at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am officiated by Brother Ted Johnson. She will be laid to rest at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville, AL.
