James A. “Jim” Merritt, age 90, of Franklin, TN passed away October 4, 2018. He attended Berry’s Chapel Church of Christ and retired as an installer with Western Electric. Preceded in death by wife, Willie White Merritt; daughter, Iris Jones; and granddaughter, Kellie Jones. Survived by sons, Mike (Chris) Merritt and Darrell (Kay) Merritt; brother, Johnny (Nina) Merritt; sister Azilee Dewey; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
