Syble Whitehead Vinson passed away on June 2, 2017, at her home. She was born to J.B. and Bennie Whitehead on April 28, 1935, in Russellville, AL. She and Ross W. Vinson married on Jan. 15, 1953. For over 30 years, Syble served as an Administrative Secretary for the Huntsville City School System (Highlands Elementary), and for various government contractors: Thiokol, CSC and Boeing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, her parents, and a sister Bobbie Martin of Russellville. Survivors include her sons, Ranny G. Vinson and wife Jenny; Danny L. Vinson; grandchildren, Bailey L. Vinson; S. Taylor Vinson and wife Amy; and three great-grandchildren, Rowe, Anna and Abby Vinson. Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, with services following at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jason Vinson will officiate. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
