FLORENCE — Cramer Children’s Center is proud to announce the return of one of its
signature fundraising events, the 2nd Annual Cramer Kids Classic, taking place on Friday,
May 23rd, 2025 from 8AM to 1PM, at the renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Muscle
Shoals. This charity golf tournament invites teams, businesses, and community members to
“swing for a cause” while supporting vital services for abused and traumatized children across
Northwest Alabama.
Founded in 1992, Cramer Children’s Center (formerly the Northwest Alabama Children’s
Advocacy Center) is a nonprofit organization based in Florence, Alabama. In 2024, Cramer
Children’s Center served 445 children under the age of 19 who experienced or witnessed abuse.
Proudly accredited by the National Children’s Alliance and the Alabama Network of Children’s
Advocacy Centers. Cramer provides trauma-informed care through advocacy, forensic services,
prevention education, and multidisciplinary collaboration with local law enforcement and child
protection agencies.
The Cramer Kids Classic offers a meaningful way to give back while enjoying a day of
championship golf. Team registration is $550 for a four-person team and includes greens fees
and cart, a gift item at check-in, a catered lunch, and opportunities to win prizes such as our
$10,000 hole-in-one prize sponsored by Bobo Family Group. All proceeds from the tournament
go directly to benefit the children served by Cramer Children’s Center, helping to ensure every
child receives the care and support they need to heal. A limited number of sponsorship
opportunities are still available, with hole sponsorships starting at just $100. Businesses,
organizations, and individuals are encouraged to support the event and gain valuable visibility
while making a lasting impact on young lives.
“We are honored to once again bring our community together through the Cramer Kids Classic,”
said Executive Director Kim Bevis. “This tournament is more than just a day of golf. It’s a
chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need us most.”
