Susie E. Wooten, age 72 of Hamilton, AL passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at UAB. She was born in Franklin County Alabama on Tuesday, February 22, 1944 to Bert and Willie Cox. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016, 12-2:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. With burial at Middle Church Cemetery. Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Wooten; parents, Bert and Willie Cox; and various loving siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Stacie Wiginton (husband, Baron), Rick Wooten; grandchildren, Gage Wiginton, Gabby Wooten; siblings, Jewel Ballard, Cathleen McDonald, Polly Marcus, Leburn Cox, Lane Keller and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
