Susan Bullard Bass, 53, of Rogersville died Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
She was a lifelong resident of Anderson and Rogersville, a graduate of Lauderdale County High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
After battling illness for many years, she still showed a warrior spirit and touched everyone she met with an infectious laugh and love to all. She will be missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Rogersville. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Dewberry, Tyler Smith, Justin Smith, Lynn Burgess, Todd Bullard, Josh Bullard, Matt Brown, Tyler Brown and Terry Hammond.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim & Lucille Bullard and Henry Smith; father-in-law, Billy D. Bass and step father-in-law, James Whitt.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Bass; children, Laurin (Eric) Craig and Leah Roberson; grandchildren, Collin, Cade, Aubree Craig ; soon to be, Gage Craig and Carter and Maddie Newton; parents, Charles & Donna Bullard; mother-in-law, Gloria Whitt; sister, Cherie (Lance) Webster; brother-in-law, Shaun Bass; grandmother, Marcella “Mott” Smith; special aunt & uncle, Harold and Katie Smith; numerous family members and friends.
