Dorothy Loraine Borden Wolfe departed this life on September 3, 2016 in Downers Grove, Illinois at the age of 84 Years, 22 Days. She was born August 12, 1932 in Pocahontas, TN the daughter of the late Amos and Rosie Goodrum Borden. She was united in marriage to Willie Hoover Wolfe on January 24, 1953. Mr. Wolfe preceded her in death on August 24, 2005. She was Secretary at Fine Products Co. in Berwyn, IL for 30 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Karel Mahr and husband Edward Mahr, Sr. of Downers Grove, IL; six grandchildren, Eddie Mahr, Jr. and wife Kelly, Fred Mahr and wife Kristin, Tammie Bruzan and husband Jake, Brittany Pow, Chris Cholewiak and wife Diane, Adam Cholewiak; seven great grandchildren, Eddie Mahr, III, Alyssa Mahr, Maxwell Mahr, Kayla Lindberg, Alex Cholewiak, Sayde Cholewiak, Aiden Cholewiak; four sisters, Nola Jean Mendenhall, Mary Ruth Halda, Elsie Horseman, Marie Hogan; three brothers, Paul Borden, J. C. Borden, Lynus Borden; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by
a daughter, Venita Cholewiak; a son, William R. Wolfe; a sister, Arvine Washington.
