FLORENCE-On August 23, 2026 at 11:23am, the Florence Police Department responded to several calls concerning two bloody males requesting help from neighbors near the 100 block of E Bailey Springs Drive in Florence, AL. When FPD officers arrived, they came in contact with the two males who both had lacerations.
Responding officers along with Florence Fire and Lifeguard Ambulance Service provided medical aid to the two males. One male was taken to a local hospital via ambulance to be treated for his injuries. The other male was flown via air ambulance to a different hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
The initial investigation shows the two males got into a physical altercation leading to one male cutting the other with a knife.
The incident is still under investigation. No arrest has made at this time.
