Sue Weldon Rich, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed way Sunday, August 17, 2025, at St. Thomas – Midtown.
She was born September 12, 1943, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the late Raymond and Mae Tate Weldon. She was a member of Berea Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and dedicated her time and efforts to raising her children. She enjoyed working in her flowers, sewing and cooking meals for her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Richie” Wayne Rich; two brothers, Charles Weldon and Morris Weldon; and one sister, Jean Weldon.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Aubrey Rich; daughter, Tina Rich of Verona; three sons, James Wilson Rich of Culleoka, Morris Lynn Rich of Lebanon, and Donald “Duck” Rich of Burns, TN; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Weldon (Mary) of Columbia.
A Graveside Service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 am at Berea Cemetery with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expenses.
