Dorothy Clark Lewis, 94, of Huntsville, AL, went to her heavenly home August 13, 2025. She was born December 9, 1930, on her family farm in Henry, TN. Dot was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church attending since 1961. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed for the public for many years. She had a great love for children and served at Whitesburg Baptist Church as a nursery worker, GA leader, youth chaperone, and also sang in the church choir. She worked in the Whitesburg Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out Program as a teacher and eventually became the Director for many years. Her family loved her deeply as a daughter, wife, momma, granny, and great-granny.

Survivors include daughters, Vicki Lewis Stoner and husband, Randall L. Stoner, and Emily Lewis Robeson and husband, Philip S. Robeson; grandchildren, whom she adored, Jessica Stoner Taylor and husband, Shannon Taylor, Ivy Robeson Mills and husband, Shane Mills, and Amanda Stoner Williams and husband, Marty Williams; great-grandchildren, Connor Lee Taylor, Trenton Scott Mills, Logan James Taylor, Marlee Claire Williams, and Barrett Edward Mills. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Dwayne Lewis, whom she was married to for 70 years, and Hilbert Whitehead, who died in February 1951; her parents, Jack and Mable Stroup Clark; and brother, Billy Gene Clark.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Randall L. Stoner officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
