Sue Hallman Key, 87 years old of Cordova, Alabama went home to be with her Lord on May 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Walker Hospital.
She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cordova, Alabama. She loved her church family. She served many years as a Sunday School teacher and piano player. She enjoyed visiting those that were shut-in and taking them food when she was able to drive.
A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Cordova, Alabama on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Her son, Tim Key, will officiate the ceremony.
Sue was preceded in death by the love of her life and Husband-Brother Ray Key; Parents-Chester and Agnes Hallman; Sisters-Faye Snow and Maggie Shepherd; Brother-Daniel Hallman.
She is survived by her Sons-Tim (Donna) Key and Shannon (Lisa) Key; Daughter-Deb (Gary) Key; Brother-Kenneth (Kathy) Hallman; Grandchildren-Andrew (Alexa) Key, Jonathan Key, David (Haley) Key, Landon (Adrienne) Key, Cameron (Cassie) Key, Callerina (Jimmy) Woodard, Jacob (Brianna) Key, Samuel Key and Christian Key; Great grandchildren-Ava Key, Lucy Key, Miller Key, Mary Corinne Key, Isaac Key, Caroline Key, Brantley Key, Weston Key, Remington Woodard, Chase Woodard, Cameron Woodard, Ryker Key, Graclyn Key, Collin Thompson and Ledger Thompson and several special nieces and nephews; Special friends-Shirley Bell, Glenda Williams and Gary and Magara Woods.
The family would like to express appreciation to an exceptional group of kind and loving nurses and care partners at Harbor Chase Assisted Living Facility along with nurse Candace Lilly and caregiver Angie Robinson from Gentiva Health Services.
