Sue Ellen Stites, age 64 of Greenbrier passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at a late date.
She was born in Springfield, TN on May 11, 1957 to the late William Frank Ellis and Sue Nelle Burr Ellis. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Dean Stites.
She was member of Greenbrier First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed teaching Bible classes, sewing, needlepoint, knitting, smocking, scrapbooking and journaling.
She is survived by her mother, Sue Nelle Burr Ellis of Greenbrier; daughters, Rachel (Steven) Wilson of Greenbrier, Rebecca (Chad) Clinard of Springfield; son, Jesse (Danielle) Stites of Ellington, CT; brothers, Joe (Tina) Ellis of Mt. Juliet, David (Stacey) Ellis of Springfield; grandchildren, Katie Rae Wilson, Wesley Wilson, Allie Grace Wilson, Nash Clinard, Noah Clinard and Ella Clinard.
