Steven Neal Brown, 58, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Steve resided in Huntsville with his wife Allison and his son Matthew.
Steve was President and CEO of Available Plastics, Inc. Steve was actively involved with many community, national, and outreach organizations. He was a member of the Guideposts Foundation Board and National Advisory Cabinet. Steve was on the Board of the YMCA, a founding member of Vistage Group 3872, a member of the Board of the CANDL Foundation, and a member of Metro Kiwanis Club. He also served as the Moderator and as an Elder of First Christian Church in Huntsville. Steve also served as the Chairman of the capital campaign for Whitesburg Christian Academy culminating in 2013.
Steve loved spending time with family and friends, traveling with his family, and playing golf.
Steve’s memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, 2309 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28th and the service will be held at noon with a reception to follow.
Memorial gifts can be made to Whitesburg Christian Academy Capital Campaign, the Guideposts Foundation, or the Steven Brown Permanent Fund c/o Christian Church Foundation, which will benefit First Christian Church Huntsville.
