Funeral Service for Robert “Sam”-“Bob” Lee Pentecost, 86, of Decatur, AL, will be Monday, August 27, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Evans officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Pentecost, who passed away August 24, 2018, at his residence, was born June 29, 1932 in Decatur, AL to the late Frederick and Elsie Pentecost. He is survived by his wife, Pat Pentecost; one son, Robert Stephen Pentecost of Decatur, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Parkview Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
