Steven Dale “Uncle Steve” Cupples, 64, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Steve was formerly employed as a welder at Monotech for 11 years. Prior to that he was a lifelong roofer. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, writing songs, and listening to music. He was known for making others laugh and joking around and riding motorcycles. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Visitation is scheduled for 9:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday, August 27, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Cupples of Iuka; his sons, Jerry Sullivan and Bobby Sullivan, both of Iuka; his sisters; Lemetra Sue “Susie” Beames of Iowa, and Debbie Wilson of Iuka; his grandchildren, Emily Sullivan of Orange, CA, Josh and Patrice Sullivan of San Antonio, TX, and Starla Boyles of Iuka; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Helen Garner Cupples; his son, Otis Sullivan; his brothers, Larry Cupples and Glen Cupples; and his sister, Theresa Sparks.
