Steve Moss passed away on July 15, 2026, after a short devastating illness. He went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family. Proceeded in death by his mother Geraldine May Moss and a father-in-law he loved dearly, R. D. Faulkner.
Steve graduated from Wilson High School and Triple A Welding College. He worked at Rudy Farms; Southwire and he was retired from the wind turbine industry where he was instrumental to many states in the U.S. and Hawaii.
He leaves behind loving wife and soulmate Regina Moss of 44 years together. A son he adored, Zack Moss and daughter-n-law Cyndal (Lucy) two beautiful grandchildren, Cypress Cade and Zayden Colt.
Papa Steve was a very proud and obsessed Papa Steve who loved Cypress and Zayden tremendously. He enjoyed so much watching Cypress play ball and just being a kid. He would be the first to tell you she was the best. He cheered on the Rogersville Tigers 8-U ball team, if he could not attend in person, you would find him watching on game changer from home or the hospital; he was not going to miss it. He loved watching Zayden run around picking up rocks, riding his electric tractor and truck, playing in the dirt. Most of all he was so proud to watch Zack and Cyndal being parents.
Steve is survived by his very special sisters, Stephanie Faulkner (Randy) and Stacey Bain (Dennis); nieces, Tiffany Smith (Chris) and Brittney Newburn (Rubin Lopez); nephews, Nathan Bain (Danielle), Skyler Bain (Haleigh), Ace, Jack; great-nieces Kyleigh Thompson (Tucker Johnson), Dakota Faulkner (Rylan) Josie and Charleigh.
Special thanks to sisters Stephanie, Stacey and Cyndal for standing by me through it all. To my uncle Jimmy Faulkner for the amazing gift that he made for Steve’s final resting home, my uncle Johnny and aunt Peggy for always answering their phones and talking with me, to the ones he called brother, Jody Blu, Michael Duke, Dennis Haddock, and D.J. Rios.
Special thanks to Preferred Hospice for the care ya”ll gave Steve: Nakeshia Harris, (KiKi, KiKi, Kiki) Lana Woods for showing compassion toward Steve, Dr, Javar Myatt-Jones and his office staff, nurses for there care of Steve over the years.
There will be a graveside celebration of life to be announced at a later time & date.
