Steve Holt, 60 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia.
Born Sunday, January 16, 1955 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late Buford Leroy Holt and Alma Ruth Young Shaw. He was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and enjoyed working with tractors and attending auctions. He was an avid Nascar fan.
Surviving are his wife: June Holt of Elkmont, AL, son, Geoffrey Holt of Ardmore, AL, his mother: Alma Ruth (Paul) Shaw of Elkmont, AL, and a grandmother: Leola Young of Athens, AL.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Scott Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
