Mr. Steve Calvin Bryant, 63 of Somerville, Alabama, The Center Grove Community of Morgan County, died Saturday December 31, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Bryant was born June 4, 1953 in Marshall County Alabama to Calvin Oscar Bryant and Opal Marie Whisenant Bryant. He worked in construction as a concrete finisher. Mr. Bryant served in the U.S. Air Force from 1979 – 1992 and earned the rank of Sergeant. He and the former Loretta Pauline Dunn were married in 1995. He enjoyed working around the house and making gadgets.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Bryant; his mother: Opal Marie Bryant; his children and in-laws: Steven Alexander Bryant, Tommy Joe and Lena Bryant, Teela Kay Bryant and Crystal Sherice and Michael Sellers; grandchildren: Jesse Swanson, Tyler Swanson, Kearston Bryant, Bryson Bennett, Colt Bryant, Mason Bryant, Hermione Bryant, Colby Sellers and Jasmine Sellers; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lucky and Sheila Bryant and Terry and Christie Bryant. He was preceded in death by his father: Calvin Oscar Bryant.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Terry Hudson and J.B. Dunn, officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Michael Sellers, Michael Woosley, Michael Light, Greg Pannell, Cody Bryant and Jake Bryant.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
