Stephen Wilson, aged 70, passed away on Sunday, March 24th ,2024. At the time of his passing, he resided in Madison, AL.
Steve was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 18, 1953. His family immigrated to America when he was 8 years old. He became an American citizen in 1976. He grew up in Sierra Vista, AZ, and
graduated from Buena High School in 1971.
He is survived by his wife (of 47 years) Judy Wilson, his son Jared Wilson, his son Arin Wilson, his grandchildren Cameron and Claire Wilson, Arin’s wife Mellissa Wilson (Addison, Andie, and Josie Kennedy), his sister and brother in-law, Lorraine and Kevin Jorgenson, his nephews Dane and Bryan (Wallis, Opal, Ronan, and Atticus) Jorgenson. He is also survived by his sister and brother in-laws, Jeannie and Ben Radcliff (Kimberly and Benny), Shirley and Billy Byrd (Misty, Ashley, and Dustin), Danny Wagoner (Jaime, Christopher, Joshua, and Jessica), Stevie German and
Kyle Russ. To also include his extended family, John and Charlotte Skelton (Justin, Jeff, and Jessica), David and Vickie Stubblefield, and Heather and Chris Waye (Taylor, Emory, and
Isaac), and Theresa Rousseau.
Steve worked on Redstone Arsenal for the last 25 years in Construction Management. The last 15 years were for CCI. The people he worked with were a very important part of his life, and he loved them as family. He looked forward every day of going to work and no plans for retirement.
He was very fortunate in that he had a special bond with his wife, both of his sons, and both of his grandchildren, and with the many friends he worked with. His presence in their lives will be forever missed.
His Memorial Service will be April 7, 2024, 2:00-3:30pm at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, A
