Stephanie Virginia Vandiver, 40, of Sheffield, passed away Dec. 27, 2012.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 29, from 5-8 p.m., at Colbert Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Thomas Thornton is officiating.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Borden; son, Sylvester Earl Vandiver;
mother-in-law, Betty Louise Vandiver.
Survivors include her husband of 15 wonderful years, Paul S. Vandiver Jr.;
son, Shawn Vandiver, both of Sheffield; mother, Mary Borden Jones (Donald), of Russellville;
sisters, Wanda Wright (Morris), of Leighton, and Deborah Bacon (Ron), of Tuscumbia; and a host of loving nieces and nephews; and many, many wonderful friends.
Pallbearers are Ottis Brooks, Jerry Green, Morris Wright and Ron Bacon.
Stephanie was a member of Washington Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals, AL.
A special thanks to all the sweet nurses at the Helen Keller ICU for the great care and love shown to our dear Stephanie.
