Stella Louise Allen, 84, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her residence. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Price and Lavanul Sherrill officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Born on June 7, 1942, to Tennis and Mable Randolph Oliver. Stella loved attending Redemption Baptist Church, and she was saved at Old Liberty over 20 years ago. She enjoyed painting, planting flowers, cooking Sunday dinners, singing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Ray (Vickie) Allen and Tonya (Jeremy) Tidwell; grandchildren, Chris (Christina) Allen, Kayla Allen, Jamie Morrison, Caleb Weaver, Brittany (Jason) England, Lakin (Teran) Gray, Dustin Tidwell, Ashley (Chad) Rutherford, Jayley (Zack) Rose, Lucas Allen, and Harley Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Emily, Jaiden, Gavin, Zaylen, Ali Ray, Aislin, Chloe, Jackson, Aliyah, Braiden, Carson, Arizona, Thoran, Tauriel, Kahleesi, and Aurora; sisters, Shelby Parker and Elizabeth (Johnny) Walker; brothers, Wayne (Wanda) Oliver and Larry (Glenda) Oliver; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Stella was preceded in death by her son, James Allen; husband, Charles Edward Allen; parents, Tennis and Mable Oliver; brothers, Dan Oliver, Renee Oliver, Ollie Oliver, and Mickey Oliver; sisters, Barbara Vandiver and Sara Joiner.
Pallbearers will be Chris Allen, Caleb Weaver, Cameron Godsey, Teran Gray, Carl Allen, and Jaiden Allen.
The family extends special thanks to the Nurses from Centerwell and Courtland’s First Responders.
