Stanley (Stan) Gipson left this life for his heavenly home on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Stan was born on April 25, 1942 to the late Elbert and Harley (Gilliam) Gipson. He was a 1961 graduate of Franklin County High School and a member of Estill Springs United Methodist Church. Stan is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Clarice Spray Gipson; daughter, Lora (Jeremy) Frost of Murfreesboro; grandsons, Gipson and Gavin Frost; siblings, Don (Peggy) Gipson of Decherd, Betty (Junior) Partin of Decherd, Joan (Pete) Woods of Decherd, and Gary (Susan) Gipson of Decherd; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2019 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. David Lay officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Memorial Park Cemetery.
