FLORENCE–UPDATE: Eric Lee Moore, a 33 year old white male from Florence, has been identified as the stabbing victim. Detectives continue to gather evidence and are speaking with a person of interest.
The Florence Police have responded to a stabbing last night, Saturday, April 30. Police Chief Ron Tyler released a statement:
“Overnight: Florence police are on the scene of a stabbing death at Alpine Village Apartments. One person has been detained. The investigation remains underway as detectives process the scene and gather evidence.”
