Spike Strips Used To Arrest Suspect From Cullan County

PRICEVILLE-On June 25, 2025, at approximately 12:10 AM, the Priceville Police Department received notification that the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office was in pursuit of two vehicles traveling northbound on I-65, entering Morgan County.

lead vehicle, a Dodge Charger. Several occupants exited the Charger and entered a Dodge Challenger, which had halted near the scene, and continued their flight north on I-65, nearly colliding with a Priceville patrol officer.

The Priceville K-9 Unit subsequently pursued the Dodge Challenger northbound on I-65 until a Priceville Police Department supervisor terminated the pursuit at the Morgan/Limestone County line.

Further north, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office successfully positioned themselves to deploy spike strips, ultimately disabling the Dodge Challenger and apprehending the driver, 36-year-old Travis Lee Andry of Madison, Tennessee. Cullman County authorities arrested 18 year-old Terrance Devon Darnell Mitchell of Antioch Tennessee at this scene as well.

It was later discovered that the Dodge Challenger had been reported stolen from Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, Andry is currently out on bond facing murder charges in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Upon resolution of his charges with Limestone County, Andry will face multiple charges related to the pursuit involving the Priceville Police Department.
As of this press release, the Priceville Police Department is in communication with Louisiana authorities regarding a potential bond revocation for Andry.
