Sonia Kay Corviss died Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was 51 years old. Sonia was born on February 22, 1973 in Booneville, Mississippi to Ernie Stearns and Debra Carpenter Stearns. She grew up in Okolona and lived there her entire life. She went to Okolona Schools and was a homemaker. She loved to do crafts and collecting elves and anything to do with elves. She loved her family and friends, but especially her nieces and nephews
She is survived by her father, Ernie Stearns of Dillard, GA, and her husband, Michael Corviss of Okolona; her siblings, Jason Spencer (Katie) of Booneville, Melissa Bishop (Chad) of Blue Springs, Angie Blansett of Okolona, and Amber Cates (Gary) of Statesboro, GA; her step-father, Gary Spencer (Judy) of Wyoming; 6 nieces and nephews; and many cousins, relatives, and other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra.
The family held a private service.
