Single-Vehicle Accident Takes Life Of Anderson Woman

ROGERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Rogersville has taken the life of an Anderson woman:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. Friday, May 8, has claimed the life of an Anderson woman.

Nadine W. Higgs, 72, was fatally injured when the 1994 Chevrolet Geo Tracker she was driving left the roadway and struck a mailbox and an embankment, and overturned before striking a tree.

Higgs was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Lauderdale County 95 near Lauderdale County 26, approximately four miles north of Rogersville, in Lauderdale County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
