FLORENCE – The Shoals Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Sam’s Club recently. Sam’s Club, which has been in Florence for over 20 years, has just completed a beautiful, new refurbishing operation at their Florence location.

In addition to providing the best value and quality merchandise and services, we are also committed to supporting our local community to charitable efforts as well. Part of our corporate belief is that we should be good citizens in our community and support organizations that improve the places where our Associates and members live and work. We do this through cash, in-kind donations and volunteer support from our Associates.
Sam’s Club is also committed to ending hunger in the United States. We have recently partnered with Feeding America food banks throughout the country. This Sam’s Club location will regularly donate nutritious, protein-rich food to Christ Chapel to help in our fight hunger in this area and to help reduce food waste.
