Tuscumbia, Alabama – Recently the Shoals Chamber of Commerce held a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Chester’s Drawers Artistic Furnishings.  “All our items are created or refurbished by a Southern Artist and many of them can be personalized,” said owner Kandy Williams.  “And, we also do custom creations upon customer’s request.”

Chester’s Drawers is located in historic downtown Tuscumbia at 108 East 5th Street, where they are one of several interesting boutique-style shops.  They are within walking distance of the many downtown attractions including Spring Park.

When asked how she came up with the name of her business, Kandy said “Many years ago the term for chest of drawers was incorrectly pronounced as Chester’s Drawers; therefore, we felt it was an appropriate name to indicate the uniqueness of our shop.”

Chester’s Drawers is a locally owned and operated small business and is proud to be a member of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce and part of the Tuscumbia Downtown community.
