Shirley Jolene Baker Pounders, age 72, Franklin County, passed away on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at ECM Hospital
Mrs. Pounders was a mother to many kids, not just her own. She was always willing to help anyone, and was loved by all who knew her.
Any and all of Mrs. Pounders’ family and friends are invited to the visitation which will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Gray Rock Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Audie Odell Baker; mother, Jessie Mae Creekmore; brothers, Donnie Franklin Baker, Hershel Baker; and sisters, Barbara Ruth Scott and Judy Marcus.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sherrie Pounders (husband, Larry Buffler); son, Joseph Pounders; granddaughter, Shenoah Pounders (fiancé, Caleb Roden); great-grandchildren, Noah Elijah Pounders, Cooper Jackson Pounders; siblings, Doris Jean Baker, Larry Baker, Ricky Baker, Robbie Baker; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
